This piece has that chunky cracked-stone look, with raised “broken slab” edges and a wide center space that is much more useful than its original job description suggests. Yes, it was originally designed as an ashtray, but it absolutely does not have to be one.
Use it as a catch-all for keys, coins, jewelry, crystals, tea lights, incense accessories, or whatever small things keep wandering off. Paint or glaze it like old stone, mossy ruins, lava cracks, icy marble, desert canyon, dungeon floor, haunted castle tile, or fantasy terrain. The carved cracks and raised edges give plenty of room for dry brushing and dramatic contrast.
Perfect for desks, entry tables, altar setups, studios, or anywhere that needs a little “ancient ruin, but make it practical.”
