Hot Ghoul Summer - Summerween Ceramics with Mike
Spooky season is arriving early!
Join me for a guided open studio where you can choose your own Halloween ceramic project and finish it in a style that feels completely yours. Go cute, creepy, colorful, classic, witchy, gothic, or deeply strange in a way we will all support.
This is not a synchronized step-by-step class. Everyone may be working on a different piece while Mike circulates throughout the studio to help with color choices, drybrushing, details, techniques, and any tiny ceramic emergencies that arise.
Some pieces will also have a glaze option available. If you choose glaze, your piece will stay with me after class so it can be fired again and picked up later.
Choose Your Project
A curated menu of Halloween ceramic pieces are available at several price points. Options include ghosts, pumpkins, witches, cauldrons, a coffin box, a raven on skull, and other spooky little weirdos.
Participants will select and pay for their piece when registering so each item can be prepared in advance.
Finish Options
All pieces may be painted with acrylics and finished with matte or gloss spray varnish.
Select pieces may be finished with ceramic glaze for an additional charge. Glazed pieces require a second firing and will not go home the same day.
This Experience Includes
Your selected fired bisque piece
Accessories as listed, when applicable
All acrylic paints or glaze supplies for your selected finish
Guided instruction and individual assistance
Matte or gloss varnish for acrylic-painted pieces
Light snacks and a mocktail
A cheerful evening of making Halloween decorations before summer knows what hit it
Event Details
Date: August 1, 2026
Time: 1:00 PM until you are ready to go home
